Enable SSH HP Procurve Switch

login via Console/Telnet Session

 

change to config mode

 

 

issue the following command to generate a secure ssh key

 

 

enable ssh version 2 if available/supported

 

 

if ssh verion 2 is not available, go with version 1, some security is better than none

 

 

 disable telnet once you are confident in ssh

once completed, issue a write memory command to save the config
